Pallet Stackers Training Guelph - A pallet stacker is a kind of pallet jack that is employed to transport, stack and lift palletized commodities that are overly difficult for manual lifting. Its key purpose is to load and unload pallets on trucks, and also transferring pallets to and from an assortment of places within a stockroom space or stockroom. Most jacks can accommodate the lifting of heavy weights to around 5 tons with either the gas or electric models. They are physically less demanding to operate than the manual versions due to the hydraulic power that raises and lowers the forks. These styles are steered by turning the handle in a specific direction. There is a button on the handle that operates to hoist and lower the forks. A throttle found on the stacker's grips moves the device forward and in reverse. This style of equipment is commonly known as a forklift and is used from a sit-down posture.

Selecting the right model of pallet stacker can be quite critical as designs will have varying lift functionality, together with varying fork widths. Some models of jacks might only tolerate two pallets to be loaded at one time, whilst other versions may be capable to stack several pallets. Some models of these lift trucks feature an adaptable fork so as to permit the stacker to slide beneath pallets of atypical sizes and shapes. Several fork models may be fairly effective when different varieties of pallets are being utilized in the same stockroom.
